I began my professional journey in 1989 with an apprenticeship in an old style Haute Couture salon in Germany. I came to London to work freelance for designers and then honed my skills spending 7 years in the workrooms of Lachasse.

Having established my own atelier, I create bespoke clothes for private clients as well as costume for film, opera and theatre. I manufactured many of the Oscar winning costumes for “Phantom Thread” in 2017.

Education has long been a part of my business. For 17 years I taught at the London College of Fashion amongst other high profile UK institutions. Teaching private classes, lecturing and delivering faculty training have taken me around the globe.
